Living Connections

This collection of thesis projects explores how design can foster empathy, strengthen relationships, and deepen the human connections that shape our lives. Through investigations into communication, emotional awareness, intimacy, and shared experience, the work examines the subtle ways products and interactions influence how people relate to one another. Each project approaches design as a tool for understanding, support, and connection, creating experiences that encourage reflection, compassion, and meaningful engagement. Drawing from personal narratives, social behaviors, and emerging technologies, these theses reveal how thoughtful design can enrich interpersonal relationships and cultivate stronger emotional bonds across diverse contexts.
