Siyan_P01_Edited.jpg

Siyan is an industrial designer whose work explores the relationship between physical interaction, material experience, and human development. His design practice often focuses on how objects can shape behaviour, support learning, and create more meaningful relationships between people and their environments. With a background in industrial design and an interest in embodied interaction, Siyan uses research, prototyping, and observation to develop products that are both functional and emotionally engaging.

Shape Lab

Learning through balance and touch

Project Description

Shape Lab is an abstract construction play system grounded in embodied cognition. It helps children explore balance, structure, and careful hand control through active physical play. Using triangular plates and support columns, the system challenges children to build beyond simple stacking. By testing support points, adjusting height, and stabilizing structures, children practice fine motor control, spatial reasoning, and balance awareness.
